I did not get to know Bill well until after high school.We used to party at Randy's Fireside often. Went to the Iowa Jam with him and Jeff Harris once. I visited Bill at his home shortly before his passing. He was very sick but very upbeat. He fought until the end. He was a very nice guy.I was a casket bearer for his funeral.I never dreamed I would be casket bearer for two friends before our ten year reunion.
