Thank you for the response. This makes myself and my mother very happy that you all would like to remember Dick with your class of 1979. It was a nightmare for me, after spending the night with him playing pool and talking, then getting a phone call from one of my classmates the next morning, who just happened to work at the hospital, that i need to come down right away. Then being told that he was no longer with us, that he had died. I should say, they murdered him. Dick is buried at the Corpus Christi Cemetery. If any of you classmates wonder out to the cemetery to pay respects to Bill, Mike, Tad, and Sherry. Take the turn closest to Kallin Johnson Monument Co., continue down the gravel road, when you come to the turn and have to go left, he will be looking right at you on the left hand side. I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER YOU GUYS WHEN I WAS A FRESHMEN, YOU GUYS SENIORS, MYSELF WALKING DOWN SENIOR HALL AND NOT BEING MISSED WITH. I WOULD HEAR, HEY LITTLE DICK. I REMEMBER DURING FOOTBALL PRACTICE, YOU SENIORS COMING OVER TO WATCH US FRESHMAN PLAYING THE SOPH., CHEERING US ON WHEN WE WERE BEATING THE CRAP OUT OF THEM. THOSE LITTLE THINGS I REMEMBER ABOUT YOU GUYS. BY THE WAY, YOU STILL ARE THE BEST FOOTBALL TEAM ST. EDS. HAS EVER HAD. 1980 IS NEXT, THEN MY TEAM 1982. I REMEMBER BIG JOE CASEY, DOUG IVORY, MARK WINTER, MARK McCARDY, PAT HALLIGAN, TO MANY TO NAME. YOU ALL SHOWED ME GREAT RESPECT. I WILL NEVER FORGET THAT. Dick passed away at the age of 43, on November 26,2003. A day i will never forget, a day before THANKSGIVING......Remember to pick your cans up if there is any raising to the sky salutes for these five that have passed......Again thanks for including Dick with the CLASS OF 1979, IT MEANS THE WORLD TO MOM AND ME.....        J.D.   ST.EDS. CLASSS OF 1982.

You are missed.
You were a dedicated fisherman and a kind person. I was saddened and confused by the way you chose to leave this world.
