Tony Tornabane

Anthony "Tony" Tornabane, 56, of Fort Dodge passed away at his home in Badger on Monday, April 1, 2019.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 5, 2019 at Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home and then a Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church. Burial will follow at Corpus Christi Cemetery. A visitation will be 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with Rosary at 4:00 p.m.
Tony is survived by his siblings, John (Judy) Tornabane of Fort Dodge; Margaret Nevius of Waterloo; Jo Marie (Bruce) Elkema of Marion; Theresa Tornabane of Fort Dodge; Angie Tornabane of Cedar Rapids; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Kathryn (Kirsch) Tornabane.
Anthony Joseph Tornabane was born May 15, 1962. He attended Sacred Heart School and graduated from Saint Edmond High School. He owned and operated the Hayloft and the Stooge's Comedy Club. He worked at Electrolux for several years. After the closure of Electrolux, he attended Iowa Central and took the Professional Truck Driver Education Course. Tony then drove truck for New Coop and the Gold Eagle Trucking Company. Tony was involved in the Fort Dodge Chili Cook-Offs and the Webster County Fairground's Figure 8 Races.
