Michelle King Nolan, 53, of Fort Dodge died Saturday, November 11, 2004 at Trinity Regional Medical Center.
Michelle King was born on December 4, 1951 in Fort Dodge. She attended Sacred Heart School and graduated from St. Edmond in 1970. Michelle then attended Iowa Central Community College.
Michelle was the Activity Director at Sunny Slope Care Center in Ottumwa. She was later employed as a pharmacy tech for thirteen years at Trinity Regional Hospital. Michelle was later employed at Friendship Haven in the Safe Have Department working with Alzheimer’s patients until the time of her death.
Michelle was preceded in death by her parents Kenneth and
Mary Jean Rial King, brothers Mike and Kenny, and her sisters Mary Ann Peed and Margaret King.
Michelle is survived by her son Ryan of Iowa City, daughter Angie (David Moench) of West Des Moines, her brother Patrick King of Mineral Wells, Texas, and her sister Maureen King of Fort Dodge. Michelle was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
Friends may call after 4:00 p.m. Monday, November 13 with a vigil at 6:00 p.m.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m.Tuesday, November 14 in the chapel of the Laufersweiler Funeral Home and at 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church with Rev. Lynn Bruch officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial. Cremation will follow the service; burial of cremains will be at a later date at St. Joseph Cemetery in Barnum.
Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
