Laurie J. Mullen, 59, of Fort Dodge passed away Sunday, December 26, 2021 at Trinity Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Monday, January 3, 2021 at Laufersweiler Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Corpus Christi Cemetery. A visitation will be Sunday from 3:00 to 5:00 PM at the funeral home.

Laurie is survived by her husband, David Mullen; daughter, Holly Mullen; siblings, Michael Freund, James Freund, Karen (Steve) Patterson, all of Fort Dodge, Paul (Teresa) Freund of Rochester, MN, and Dan (Chris) Freund of Humboldt; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mark and Mary (Crouse) Freund and niece and nephew, Elizabeth and Andrew Freund.

Laurie Jean Freund was born October 15, 1962 in Fort Dodge. She attended areas schools and graduated from Saint Edmond High School. On June 16, 1990 she was united in marriage to David Mullen. The couple established their home in Fort Dodge. Laurie was in management at McDonalds in Fort Dodge.
