I do believe today is Sandi (Thompson) Phillips' BIRTHDAY.....Not sure why it didn't show up in my email to send her a message!!! Anyway...Miss Sandi, here's hoping you have a great day today and do some serious celebrating. We should be going to Cabana's in Nashville to have a drink...maybe an Appletini. I'd even "dress-up" for you!!!

Sandi.....Nashville does sound good, doesn't it...such good memories of our trip this summer. We're just going to have to definately do it again. Me again.....my husband had knee replacement today in Hannibal, MO. Surgery took about an hour, and he was up walking this aft. and is to come home tomorrow. Next step is therapy. God is good!!!

OK...I missed the last luncheon this year. I wanted to go but the cold weather w/the snow just made it not that desirable. Husband got therapy also today. Just stayed home and got some cleaning & laundry done. Hope everyone had a good time w/out me. I need someone to write on here and let me know who all was there and what the latest news is w/the class. I missed seeing my classmates.

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!

It is not real sunny in "sunny" CA today.  We have had rain and I can see snow on the mountains.  It is brisk outside - 59 degrees!

My family celebrated on Sunday.  It was a lovely day.  We are so blessed to have my granddaughter, Tyler, home on leave from the Army.  She really likes the Army..  Today is my day to catch up on some work at the office before I take off again on January 1 for seminars in Northern CA.

Went to Church last evening and relaxed at home.

Wishing everyone the warm feelings of the Christmas season.  Hug someone today.  Life is precious and be thankful for all your blessings.  Count them everyone!  God Bless!

So sorry to hear of the loss of Kay Womack's husband Reuben Kristianson passed away. My sympathy goes out to Kay and their children. Will keep you all in my prayers.

Up-date on my husband...we are doing pretty good considering. Ready to start wk. #3 of 6 of radiation and chemo pill. Larry stopped taking nausea med., didn't need it. We have great friends who volunteer to take him to Quincy each day. Takes 40 mins. to get there and 7 mins. for the treatment. Larry's appetite is very good and he's feeling good. Just a little more tired than usual, so it always be could worse. We feel blessed to have family and soooo many friends praying and lifting us up. I'd like to thank everyone again for thoughts and concerns for us both. GOD IS GOOD.

Hey to all 14 of us who were able to meet out at Chandler's today for good food ( that roast beef sandwich I had  was tops) and for good conversation !  What a great time it was... catching up on what is going on in our daily lives  and what future plans we might have in the hopper.  Good for us...let's meet again next month at "The Celler" in Keokuk.  Untill then, may we all stay healthy and think young!  Afterall, we are a long way off from that century mark!

I totally agree w/Nancy...we all had a great time. Good to see Pat in town and good to see Bonnie, too. We were minus a few. I've missed several months so glad to be back to almost normal. Everyone is coming down to my neck of the woods next month at the Cerllar in Keokuk. Looking fwd to seeing everyone again. Mark your calendars. Wish some guys would join us, we are a fun crowd!!!
