Shelley Deese Cox of Bradenton, FL, formerly of Charlotte and Fort Mill, SC, entered the gates of heaven on April 1, 2010. She was born on March 10, 1972 in Charlotte, NC. Shelley was a 1990 graduate of Fort Mill High School and attended Central Piedmont Community College. She worked at Piedmont Natural Gas before moving to Tallahassee, FL.
Shelley is survived by her children, Chelsea Cox, Brian Cox and Ashton Cox, all of Tega Cay, SC; parents, Mike and Polly Morgan of Lake Wylie, SC and David Deese of Indian Trail, NC; sister, Sharon Blalock and husband Scott of Charlotte; brother, Michael Morgan Jr. of Lake Wylie, SC; niece, Morgan Blalock of Charlotte; and grandmother, Gladys Morgan of Rock Hill, SC. She also left numerous aunts, uncles and cousins who loved her and will cherish their memories of her.
A visitation will be held at 3:00 pm on Thursday, April 8, 2010, and a memorial service will follow at 4:00 pm at Pleasant Hill Presbyterian Church, 15000 York Road, Charlotte. Reverend Bob Jack will be officiating. Burial will be private at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, it is requested that memorials be made to the Pleasant Hill Presbyterian Building Fund.
