Mike was a very smart guy, and he was kind. I remember his mother working in Rhodes Jewelry - she was a special lady who was always willing to help the teenage crowd (my engagement ring came from Rhodes).
Mike was a very good ball player, I liked his father a lot, I tried to get Mike to teach me how to write with my left hand in the 8th grade, it did't work out to good . He was a great guy!
When Mike and Barbara (Browning) got back together after many years divorced, I had a FIT! But Mike had changed. He grew up and became a truly fine man and a wonderful husband. Life is truly better "The Second Time Around". I go to the Jetty and say "Hi" to Mike every time I am in FP. Rest in peace old friend...
