John Charles "Johnny" Scott, 52 of Fort Pierce died Monday, October 9, 2000 in Fort Pierce.  A native of Valdosta, Ga, he lived in Fort Pirce for most of his life.  

He was a cattle rancher.  With his father and brother, they owned and operated Scott's Grassy Island Ranch, west of Fort Pierce.  He was a 1966 graduate of Dan McCarty High School.  

Survivors include two daughters, Cindy Parker of Fort Pierce and Robin Teller of Fort Pierce; three grandchildren; and a brother Thomas T Scott of Vero Beach.

Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. today and again from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, October 13 at Yates Feneral Home in Fort Pierce.  A service will be at 11a.m. Friday, October 13, at the funeral home with the Rev. Myric Laite.  Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Park in Fort Pierce.
