Donald Engholm

Donald Emil Engholm, 71, of Ft. Pierce FL. passed on Saturday the 30th of January, at Lawnwood Medical Center in Ft. Pierce.

 

He was born to Robert Engholm and Jean Boyd in Galesburg, IL in the year 1949. He served his country as a radioman in the United States Army during the Vietnam war. He enjoyed spending his time fishing, watching NASCAR and cooking delicious food. He was a devoted father and grandfather and will be greatly missed by all those who knew him.

 

Donald is survived by brother David and Sister-in-law Debra, daughter Angela Engholm, grandchildren: Rachel Atkinson, Amber Atkinson, Chelsea Atkinson, Abby Peterson and Jessica Peterson, as well as a great grandchild, among other family and friends.

Boy...its hard to realize that friends we've known for so many years pass on.  We became friends with Don in the mid 70's.  He was a fun guy and I'm sorry that I didn't reconnect with him again.  I'm so sorry to hear that he has passed and I do send my condolences to his surviving family.  I liked Don a lot.

Deveron Martin

A double shock today,with finding out that Raymond Keaton passed and now Don.We hung out quite a bit and i wrote to him while he was in Viet Nam.I still have the letters and picture of him in combat gear,somewhere.A great guy and he never had a bad word to say about anybody.You will be missed,R.I.P,
