Lucinda Hamilton-Smith, 55, died July 2, 2005, at the Hospice Residences of Martin & St. Lucie, Stuart. She was born in Washburn, Maine, and lived in Fort Pierce for 46 years, coming from Washburn. She was a 1967 graduate of Dan McCarty High School, Fort Pierce. She attended the University of Florida, Gainesville. She and her husband owned and operated St. Lucie Paper and Packaging for 25 years. Survivors include her daughter, Amber Michelle Hamilton-Smith of Fort Pierce; and parents, Gerald and Lois Porter Jardine of Fort Pierce. She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Hamilton-Smith, in 2002; and a son, Scott Hamilton-Smith, in 1996.
