Ann Minter Everett of Gainesville died Monday at North Florida Regional Medical Center. She was 48.
Mrs. Everett was a first-grade teacher at Lake Forest Elementary School.
She was born in Fort Pierce and moved to Gainesville 28 years ago.
Mrs. Everett graduated from Dan McCarty High School in Fort Pierce, attended Indian River Junior College in Fort Pierce and received an education degree from the University of Florida in 1971.
She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Gainesville.
Survivors include her husband, Kevin Everett of Gainesville; a daughter, Heidi Chapman of Gainesville; a son, Ryan Everett of Tallahassee, and her parents, John and Margaret Minter of Fort Pierce.

Ann lived just a couple of doors down from us when we were in Junior High. She and I watched the Beatles debut on Ed Sullivan together at her house - memories!
