John Charles "Johnny" Scott, 52, of Fort Pierce died Monday, Oct. 9, 2000, in Fort Pierce. A native of Valdosta, Ga., he lived in Fort Pierce for most of his life. He was a cattle rancher. With his father and brother, they owned and operated Scott's Grassy Island Ranch, west of Fort Pierce. He was a 1967 graduate of Dan McCarty High School. Survivors include two daughters, Cindy Parker of Fort Pierce and Robin Teller of Fort Pierce; three grandchildren; and a brother, Thomas T. Scott of Vero Beach.
