Sorry to announce that our classmate Sam Durham passed away on Sept 21, 2025

Samuel Timothy “Sam” Durham, 72, passed away on September 21, 2025, in Fort Pierce, Florida.

A lifelong resident of Fort Pierce, Sam was the proud owner and operator of Advantage Air Conditioning Company of the Treasure Coast, which he founded in 1984. He was deeply respected in his community and known for his dedication, professionalism, and kindness.

Sam had a zest for life. He loved to travel and enjoyed scuba diving in destinations all around the world. An avid racquetball player and devoted Miami Dolphins fan, Sam also cherished time spent with his family above all else. He served as president of T.R.A.C.C.A.

Survivors include his loving wife of 29 years, Rena Durham of Fort Pierce, FL; sons, Samuel Timothy Durham II of Fort Pierce, FL, and Leif Eric (Katie Moorehead) Durham of Port St. Lucie, FL; brother, Ronald (Pam) Durham of Dowling Park, FL; stepchildren, Henry Machi (Lisa) Ward of Port St. Lucie, FL, David Lucas (Lisa) Ward of Port St. Lucie, FL, and Tarrah Lee Ward of Fort Pierce, FL; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his siblings, Warren Durham, Priscilla Frangella, Ramona Beane, and Martha Clifton.
