Robert Lee Jefferson Jr. Obituary A senior administrator with Harmony Center, a resident of Baton Rouge and a native of Fort Pierce, FL, passed away Sunday, August 25, 2013 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center at age 51. Robert was a graduate of Fort Pierce Central High School in Fort Pierce, FL, a 1985 graduate of FAMU, and attended Southern University School of Law. He was a parishioner at St. Patrick Catholic Church where he served as an usher. He is survived by his wife, Rosa Singletary Jefferson; mother Zanobia Jefferson; son, Robert Lee "R.J." Jefferson, III; sisters, Hedi (Joseph) Long, Robin (Frank) Sims, Ionis Jefferson, and Giselle (John) Mestre, and a host of family and friends. He is preceded in death by his father Robert Lee Jefferson, Sr. Visiting will be Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government Street from 5 pm until 8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, August 29, 2013 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 12424 Brogdon Lane, celebrated by Rev. Jerry Martin. Interment will be in Fort Pierce, Florida. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made towards a college fund for R.J. Jefferson to be set up at any Regions Bank.
