Michael Buckley
August 18, 1962 - February 9, 1994
Michael Buckley passed away in February of 1994, at Indian River Memorial Hospital, after a long illness.
Michael was blessed with the friendship of a lifetime, a friendship that we all look for and desire in our own lives, Diana Tyrell.
Michael was hospitalized at IRM when Diana gave birth to her daughter, Kathryn, in 1993. Diana was able to sneak her baby girl to Michaels room, he had never held an infant before, and it brought him tears of joy. Through out the next several days, Michael and Diana proceeded to cause total havoc for the nursing staff. Michael would keep Diana laughing with his laugh. And those of you that had ever heard Michael's laugh, never forgot it, it was infectious!
Diana made good to her promise, that she would not let Michael die alone. She was there by his side when he passed.
Michael's ashes, as per his wishes, were spread at Kashi, just north of Sebastian, right before Palm Bay, Fl., to be in that beautiful, peaceful place, at rest, finally after suffering for so long.
God Speed Michael, know that you are missed.

Mike was a funny guy and he used to hang out with Britt and I. He always had a sense of humor, and I gotta say, at time he could go lookin for trouble. I think he and Britt took off in a golfcart one time and came home with the Britt Rd sign.........but that was a hundred years ago....lol. He used to be around the house all the time, and then all of the sudden he was gone. Sometimes you just think life isn't fair, but I know Mike is always around, especially when I get into a golf cart....
