Thomas Eugene Berard Sr., 50, of Mulberry entered into rest on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2011, in Little Rock. He was born April 11, 1961, in Killeen, Texas. He was preceded in death by his father, Rena Berard, and a sister, Linda Berard. Thomas was a carpenter and a member of Open Door Church in Mulberry.

Survivors include his wife, Tronda; two sons, Thomas Eugene Berard of Mulberry and Benjamin Thomas Berard and wife Johnna of Alma; his mother, Dorothy Berard of Fort Smith; a brother, Henry Joseph Berard of Fort Smith; two sisters, Karen Stanley of Fort Smith and Sandy Berard of Fort Smith; and a granddaughter, Bayla.

Family-held memorial service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Open Door Church in Mulberry. Arrangements are under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith.
