Donna R. Lonni

APRIL 18, 1940 – FEBRUARY 8, 2019

Donna Rae Ionni, 78, passed away February 8, 2019 after a brief illness. Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She was the daughter of Wendell and Helen Munger. She graduated from South Side High School in 1958 and attended IPFW studying sociology, which she thoroughly enjoyed. Donna worked for many years at Fort Wayne National Bank. She was a dedicated member at Trinity English Lutheran Church and proudly sang in the chancel choir. She loved spending time with her family and friends, always ready with an encouraging word and a big hug. She adored her dog Tobey, and was an animal advocate. She is survived by her beloved companion Ed Collins, daughters Jennifer King (Jeff), Toni (Christopher) Mennel, Lisa Sheetz (Dennis). Grandchildren Brad King, Ali King, Rachel Hoffman, and Matthew Hoffman. Brother Murray Munger and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Remo A. Ionni, parents Wendell and Helen Munger, and sister Sandra Williams. Celebration of life is 4:00 pm Saturday, February 16, 2019 at D.O. McComb and Sons Funeral Home Pine Valley with memorial calling from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm prior to the service.
