Diane Graft

DIANE K. GRAFT, 47, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. She was a native and lifetime resident of Fort Wayne and was a graduate of Concordia High School and IPFW school of nursing. She was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church and an animal lover and a volunteer at the Shadarobah Horse Rescue and Dare to Dream Youth Ranch of Fort Wayne. Her life's passion was caring for abused, neglected and unwanted animals. Surviving are her parents, Fred and Rose Marie Graft of Fort Wayne; sisters, Susan (Chuck) Farris of Columbia City, Karen (Randy) Einem of Orange, Calif., Sharon (Chuck) Leuenberger and Jean (Randy) Beery, both of Fort Wayne; brother, Mark (Judy) Graft of Dallas; and nieces and nephews, Forrest and Grant Leuenberger, Erin, Drew and David Graft, Tracey (Robert) Einem Lindeman; and her dog, Dixie. Service is 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012, at D.O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road, with calling one hour prior. Pastor Mark A. Neubacher officiating.
