Oh no!  Tell me it isn't so!  I just saw this posted on the PHS web site that Beth has passed away, date and circumstances unknown.  Beth was my first real love at Paschal when we were sophomores.  Her family moved to Fort Worth from Arkansas in kind of a "Beverly Hillbillies" way and purchased a big house in the neighborhood near the main entrance to Forest Park.  I used to walk her home after track practice and we would hold hands all the way to her block and then be more "restrained" lest her father catch us.  Our big dates consisted of me parking my Honda 90 motorcycle down the street and then picking her up on foot to ostensibly hike down to the zoo or the rides at Forest Park.  In reality, we rode the Honda all over town with her arms wrapped around my waist holding on for dear life.  It was heaven!.  Beth was an absolutely delicious kisser who taught me the art of passion while we rode the Forest Park Ferris Wheel.  We had one lovely and sweet spring afternoon picknicking at the Botanical gardens (where we both acquired so many chigger bites that I think Beth had to go to the doctor...her mom was not to happy about that).  I lost Beth's heart to another (Chuck Prill) and always wished her the best with Chuck but then lost track of her after graduation.  Now it appears we have all lost her forever.  Let's meet again someday on that Ferris Wheel, Beth, and catch up on young love.  I hope life treated you well and you are in a peaceful place where it is always springtime in the gardens.
