Is it OK to say how envious I am that all of you can stay in touch and see each other regularly??? Being in Pennsylvania keeps me away but I enjoy reading what you are doing. Thanks! How about a field trip to PA???

We are only $162 short of reaching our goal. With 5 days left, I know we can do it! Can we get 7 more team members? Thank you to those who said they would donate or join. I'm grateful for your participation and donations towards Esther's Pearls.

Lydia, Thank you for giving all of us the opportunity to help people that have such a difficult disease. And thank you for the inspiration to know that in spite of having the disease yourself, you still want to help others. Congratulations on reaching the goal.

Go Jackets!

To mis-quote the Star  Tattlegram: The Yellow Jackets will take their perfect record to the 5A Division I playoffs, where they will face Burleson Centennial at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Mansfield's Newsom Stadium.

Go Jackets!

Hi, Friends! it has been fun to read your posts and I wish I lived close enough to join in the fun FW events. I also recently watched our reunion slide shows again and giggled and enjoyed them all! Didn't we have fun? A part of that fun for me was attending Young Life and our classes trip to Frontier Ranch. I thought I would share that YL has a capital fundraising campaign to replace some of the aging buildings. I recently made a donation in your honor!!! (AHHS class of 73) go Yellow Jackets!! if you want to check out what YL is building, go to http://tinyurl.com/give2FR
I recently moved to Denver. Anyone else up here? Happy Holidays to all!

LOVE the Young Life donation in our Class of '73 honor! You do get around! Hope you enjoy Denver!

Much love, Anne

Donna,

That is fantastic that you gave to Younglife in our name. I just attended the Fort Worth annual fundraiser, great organization doing great things with high school kids, building relationships for the future.

It's great to read all the posts and keep up.  Just wondering if there is any date on the potential holiday get together?  I'm making flight arrangements during the holidays and would like to make it if possible since I missed the September get together.

Donna, those are some of my favorite memories too!  Thank you for making a donation to YL in our honor.  It's a great organization with a big impact for a lot of years!  Enjoy Colorado--and come see me if you are ever in Chicago.  Missing those fun class get togethers in Ft. Worth!

Does anyone have any memorabilia of Senior Girls Dance at the Blackstone Hotel? We are staying there the Friday after Thanksgiving for the festival of lights. The general manager would love to have copies of anything historical. Yes, sad to say, forty two years ago is "historical".

Bill - I have a picture of Anne Sz dancing on a table that night with a drink in each hand and less clothes on than she wore in. You can have the pic, but it won't be cheap!

Anne Adele Szablowski (Robillard)

Why is it all the other senior girls get "sweet nothings" posted about them, and I get the less than goodie two shoes post?  All that to say, I thought I destroyed the negative of that picture.... how did you get a copy, Mike/ Hahahahahaha

I won't make the Christmas party, but I hope someone will bring a camera, so we can all see everyone who was there. I am wishing you all the best Christmas and new year of all.

As much as I have been planning to be there and looking forward to seeing folks again, I wont make this one either.  A sorry Houston judge prefers that I waste early tomorrow morning with him and won't allow a reschedule (arguing dismissal of young son's ticket).  Hope there is great attendance and a good time for all!  Merry Christmas Everyone!  D2

As much as I would have liked to have joined you, I wasn't able to free myself from my self-imposed job I have the pleasure of doing.  Maybe the next one will fall on days off.

Personally, I pray that all have a peace-filled Christmas.  May this coming year bring unforseen blessings!

God bless,

Don

Hi All, Coming up on St. Patrick's Day.  Any gatherings?

I missed the Dec. 16 event, got the news my oldest brother, Sandy Jary, 'Ed,' age 63, class of AHHS 1970 had taken his own life.  Alcoholism and Depression are a deadly combination.  Then my cousin, Roland Jary, AHHS class of 1954 or 53, died suddenly of a heart attack.  So, I had been really shell-shocked!

Can't believe we are in the 'new 40,' of 60 years of age.  Just an update.  Meanwhile I am doing alright today.
