Does anyone know what happened to Vicki? Vicki and I were best friends at beginning of high school. Bobby Farrell used to come by my home in Crestwood when Vicki would stay over and take us for motorcycle rides on the levee. Vicki and I also double dated - her with my brother and me with my brother's best friend. We had lots of fun with her brother Jim and the family's unicycle. LOL! Her parents were great too!
I remember her fondly and have thought about her from time to time. She was a beautiful, fun loving girl! We never kept track of each other after graduation and I was very surprised and deeply saddened by her passing. Prayers for my friend.
This is a strange story but should answer your questions. Way back I was working at a bank and in walks Vicki, approximately 1988, we visited & she looked and acted like the same Vicki. Never saw her again. 2016 Emily took me out to eat for my birthday at Eddie V's, we had a very personable waiter. We started talking to him & I asked where he was from ( I think he said Washington state) he said his father grew up here in FW and had recently moved back. He said his father's name was ??? Halsey (I don't remember his 1st name).I knew Vickie had an older brother, when he said that I took a good look at him & said, do you have an Aunt Vicki & was your grandmother a nurse anesthetist he said yes. I thought he was going to faint. When I really looked at him I just knew he was related to Vicki. He said Vicki had died about 5 years earlier of cancer and had never married. What a small world.
