I didn't know Kathy but am sure some of you did. I saw that her "In Memory" post had no comments or tributes. We all shared our time and space with her at some time during our special years at Heights. Here is some of the information that her family gave for her obituary. I'm sorry I did not realize that she was on the memory page. Kathy was my best friend from 6th grade through high school. She sadly passed away at 60 after a long illness. She was at our 40th reunion. We grew apart after high school but still kept in touch from time to time. We had a lot of laughs together. I went to her funeral. She met her husband Jim at Heights - class of '70. Taken too soon for sure.

Kathy and I went through school together starting in kindergaten. I did not get a chance to visit with her at the 40th reunion and so regretted it. What a sweet girl, and so quiet! She is in the picture of Mrs. Martin's kindergarten class at Mary Louise Phillips. Bottom left. RIP Kathy.

I remember meeting Kathy in English class and her eyes and smile were so attractive I finally found the courage to ask her to the freshman howdy dance. She turned me down because she was already going with someone else, but she asked me to dance when we saw each other there. We both had dates but it worked out just fine. I always remembered that about her, she was so considerate. I wish the best for her entire family.
