James Leonard Connolly, Jr.
James Leonard Connolly Jr. 48, of Natick, died unexpectedly Monday August 20, 2007, at his home in Natick. Born & raised in Natick, he was a son of Eleanor (Pimentel) Connolly of Ashland & the late James L. Connolly. Educated in the Natick School System, he was a graduate of Natick High School, class of 1977. He latter received his Bachelor?s Degree and Master?s Degree in Education from Framingham State College. At the time of his death he was looking forward to returning to Holliston High School, where he taught Robotics and Technology. He loved being a teacher and was a wonderful son, brother, uncle, teacher & role model & he will be missed by all who knew him. He enjoyed golf, biking and time spent at Longfellows Sports Club. Besides his mother he is survived by two sisters, Patricia Connolly Sheek of Upton ; Nancy Connolly Carson & her husband Bruce of Natick. Two brothers; John Connolly & his wife Dana of Natick, Daniel Connolly of Upton. Also survived by his nieces and nephews, Jason & Gordon Sheek Jr; Hanna & Haley Carson; Ryan, Jesse & Keri Connolly; Maxwell, Patrick, Sarah & Jessica Connolly & his much loved dog, Ivan. A funeral Mass will be offered in St. Patrick?s Church Natick Tuesday August 28, 2007 at 10AM. Burial will follow at St. Zepherin?s Cemetery in Wayland. Visiting hours in the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home (www.everettfuneral.com) 4 Park St., at Natick Common Monday August 27, 2007 from 4 to 8PM. In lieu of flowers a scholarship fund has been set up in his honor at Holliston High School. Please make donations payable to the James L. Connolly Jr. Scholarship Fund % Holliston High School. The scholarship will be set up for seniors majoring in Technology.
