Skot Atha, 62, passed away Sunday July 28, 2019, in Frankfort. He was born in Owenton on September 14, 1957, the son of the late Charles and Martha Jane New Atha. He was a graduate of Franklin County High and spent most of his life as an artist. He also enjoyed camping, the outdoors, loved the ocean and movies, woodcarving and painting. He was also an actor, having played in several productions. Surviving are his three siblings, Mark, Greg and Pam Atha; a niece, Skyler Atha and two great nephews Malachi and Joseph. McDonald & New Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. A celebration of life service will be held later.
