Rodney Morrison Cook, 62, passed away at home on Thursday, March 7, 2019. Graveside services will be held at Frankfort Cemetery on Monday, March 11, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Dawn Montgomery officiating.

Mr. Cook was born in Frankfort on March 12, 1956. He graduated from Franklin County High School in 1975, and attended Morehead State University. He was a member of Bellview Christian Church. He was a competitive track and cross country runner, and enjoyed playing softball and bowling. In addition, he was an avid University of Kentucky Fan.

He is survived by his mother, Jane Morrison Cook; siblings, Wanda Trimble and Goerge P. Cook, Jr. (Lori); and best friend whom he loved like a brother, Greg Nease (Sylvia). He was also blessed with several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, George Pershing Cook, Sr. 

Serving as pallbearers will be family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Bluegrass Hospice Care.
