On April 14, 1978, Miss Tina Marie Linton died in a traffic accident on Yellow Springs Pike.  Miss Linton was the 14 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Linton, Rt. 7, Frederick, and was a student at Governor Thomas Johnson High School.

Services are scheduled for 10:30am, Tuesday, April 18, from the Smith, Fadeley, Keeney & Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church Street.  The Rev Dr. Carl B. Rife, Brookhill United Methodist Church will officiate.  Interment will be in Brookhill Cemetery, Yellow Springs.

The family will receive friends from 7-9pm at the funeral home.

Besides her parents, Miss Linton is survived by one brother, Bruce Lee Linton, Rt.7, Frederick; one sister, Mrs. Patricia Ann Crook, Brunswick; her paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley E. Linton, Yellow Springs; her maternal grandmother, Mrs. Mary Sherwood of London, England; two aunts, Mrs. Nancy Georgion, London England and Mrs. Eileen Barry, Dublin, Ireland; three uncles, James Sherwood, George Sherwood and Desmond Sherwood, all of Sussex, England; and several nieces and nephews.
