What have you been up to since graduation?
After High School I worked at Texas A&M while my first husband, Pete Adams (class of 1963), completed his degree. Pete and I divorce in 1983. We are both happy and proud of our two daughters. In 1985 Dennis Bernhard and I married. Dennis is a wonderful husband and stepfather to the girls. I continued working in the health care field in Florida where Dennis, Cyrena and I lived for six years while Dennis built a business in general aviation. We were happy to return to Texas in 1996 and have build our home on the Bernhard Ranch west of Harper, Texas where Dennis was raised. We raise cattle and dorper sheep on this working ranch. We own Lone Star Aero (a Mooney and Cyrris airplane service center) in San Antonio, Texas where Dennis is President of the company since 1996. I have been Director of Laboratory Services at Peterson Regional Medical Center in Kerrville, Texas for nine years. Rebecca is a graduate of Texas A&M and Cyrena is a graduate of the University of Florida. I am a graduate of the University of Louisiana at Monroe. Dennis attended Texas Lutheran University. We love being back "home" in the Hill Country, living on the ranch and enjoying our children and grandchildren.
