I knew Chris since grade school. He was always very quiet and shy in large groups growing up. I just remember having some fun times on the bus. I had the opportunity to be his son's teacher at one point. He was a delightful child and Chris was a great Dad!
I spent every single day with Chris from the time he moved to Freeport in 3rd grade until we were in High School. He's the one person that I was closest to during that time. He was at my house eating cereal or just sitting at the table in our kitchen every day before school usually before I got up, rode the bus together, had classes together, he always got off the bus at my house and spent every day with me and my brothers, played baseball, football, and basketball, rode bikes, built a fort, snuck my dad's beer, got silly and didn't go home til after dark EVERY day, He was like a brother to me. I'll always cherish my memories of him and our times together. Rest in Peace brother!
