Funeral Services for JoAnn Waddy Bryan, 49, of Freeport will be Saturday, February 24, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at First Missionary Baptist Church in Freeport, TX with Dr. J.V. Williams officiating. Burial will be at Peaceful Rest Cemetery in Brazoria, TX.

She died Sunday, February 18, 2007 at her residence.

JoAnn worked for Intermedics in the housekeeping department for 21years. As a member of First Missionary Baptist Church in Freeport, she was a dedicated choir member, assisted with the Gift Ministry, assisted with food ministry in the kitchen, member of the Intercessory Pray Team, devoted to WOP (Women of Prayer), Matron of the Youth Department and loved to attend church. Her passion in life was spending time with her grandchildren and sewing.

JoAnn is preceded in death by her father, Raymond Waddy Sr. and her sister, Helen Ray Waddy.

She is survived by her son, Rev. Leroy H. Bryan, Jr. (Wamboi), Lake Jackson, daughter, Latasha M. Waddy, Freeport; mother, Dorothy Mae Bullard, Lake Jackson; 3 brothers, Raymond Waddy (Darlene), Houston, Ernest R. Bullard and Daryle Bullard, both of Lake Jackson; 2 sisters, Belanda Williams, Lake Jackson, Erica Petteway (Robert), Angleton; 6 grandchildren, Lataevia M. Thomas, Jazmin Plumber, Jai Jones, Ja’Quvious Bryan, Ja’Marian Bryan, Ja’Siah Bryan; God daughter, Roweena Edwards; special friend, Kenneth White and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.

Active pallbearers will be Quinton Bell, Rodney Bullard, Leslie Davis, Grady Johnican, Aaron Times, Kerry White, Reggie William, Michael Nelson and Harold Woods.

Honorary pallbearers will be Earnest Bullard, Daryl Bullard, Robert Petteway, Timothy Williams Jr., Rodney Vaughn Jr., Dominique Petteway, Ray Davis and Raymond Waddy.

Visitation will be Friday, February 23, 2007 at Dixon Funeral Home Chapel in Brazoria from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a wake starting from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
