Clarence Adolph Gonzales

Clarence Adolph Gonzales, 65, passed away Friday, March 2nd, 2018, on his beloved shrimp boat, the Seaburn. He was born January 14th, 1953 in Freeport, Texas, the son of Clarence Henry and Erna Lee (Hudgins) Gonzales. He married Mary Jane McAda on January 21st, 1982 in Freeport, Texas.

Clarence was an avid fisherman, hunter, and cowboy. He had been a shrimper for over 40 years and enjoyed working cows with his family and friends. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He gave without asking for anything in return. He loved his family and was especially proud of his grandchildren.

He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Mary Jane; his four children and their spouses, Julianne Parker McCoy and Jason, Clacie Ciaccio and Chris, Adam Gonzales and Sammie, and Emily Moody and Trenton; as well as his nine grandchildren Kalena, Kassidy, Braedon, Sylas, Jake, Jaxson, Juliana, Rivers, and Rylo. He also leaves behind his brother, W.F. Gonzales and Beverly; nephew, Buddy Gonzales and Jenifer; and niece, Julie Stoddard; mother-in-law, Dorothy McAda Savana; sister-in-law, Margie McAda; brothers-in-law, Wesley McAda, Bernie McAda, and Joe McAda and their spouses and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Wednesday, March 7th from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and services will be Thursday, March 8th at 11:00 a.m. at Stroud Funeral Home in Clute, Texas.
