Arenda Sue Witt Merritt, 35, of Fulton, died Sunday, June 9, 1996, at the University of Missouri Medical Center in Columbia.

She was born July 2, 1960, the daughter of Leo and Shirley Thompson Witt of Fulton.  Her mother survives in Fulton.

She was a graduate of Fulton High School and was a flight attendant for America West Airlines.

Survivors include:  a daughter, Lacy, of the home; three sisters, Kathleen Twitchell of Fulton, Lisa Hall of New Bloomfield, and Candace Witt of St. Louis; two brothers, Michael Witt of Mexico and Danny Joe Witt of Fulton, and several nieces and nephews.
