Titus Capers

March 17, 1957 - August 2, 2022

Titus Capers, 65, passed away August 2, 2022, at his home in Durham.

Titus was born March 17, 1957, to the Abraham Capers, Sr. and Lillie Mozetta McLeod in Wake County.  In his youth, he enjoyed playing basketball and football for Fuquay-Varina High School.  He also enjoyed helping his friends and his community.

In addition to his parents,Titus is also preceded in death by his brothers, Isaiah Capers and Phillip Capers and sisters, Rachel Capers Hodges and Betty Capers.

Titus is survived by his son, Joshua Capers; Kim Williams Capers, the mother of his son; brother, Abraham Capers, Jr.; and sisters, Virginia Capers Yon, Bessie Capers, Minnie Mae Capers Williams and Lillie Mozetta Capers-Wright.

A memorial service was held Monday, August 8, 2022  at Hudson Funeral Home Chapel in Durham.
