Shellia Vivecia Speed

Shellia Vivecia Speed was born to the late Roy William Speed and Annie Mae Curtis on April 7, 1957 in Wake County, NC. She was called to her heavenly home on June 30, 2010.
Shellia attended Fuquay Consolidated School and Fuquay-Varina High School and received her diploma in 1975. She married and travelled a lot as an army wife. Out of this union, her daughter, Tamica Lyons was born. Shellia was a devoted mother to Tamica. Shellia was a faithful and dedicated member of St. Augusta Missionary Baptist Church. She was a wonderful usher, making sure everyone had what they needed. Shellia was a member of the kitchen ministry, missionary ministry, and pastoral support ministry. She was a devoted attendee of Bible study and Sunday School. Shellia was named both woman of the year and usher of the month during her church membership.
Shellia leaves to cherish her memories: 1 daughter, Tamica Lyons (Walter Dudley) of Fayetteville; 1 special aunt and spiritual mother, Luvertis McNeil of Fuquay-Varina; 2 special cousins, Patricia Prince-Gould (Nathan) and Inez Speed, both of Fuquay-Varina; 2 surrogate daughters, Amanda Lyons (Mark Holland Jr) of Fuquay-Varina, and Latonya Middleton of Spring Lake; 4 great-god children, Cayshana Holland, Aviana Holland, Raquan Holland, and Marsean Holland all of Fuquay-Varina; a host of relatives, church family, and plenty of friends.
Arrangements by Trice Funeral Home, Fuquay-Varina, NC. Interment at Starlight Memorial Gardens, Holly Springs, North Carolina.
