Virginia "Ginger" Vaughan Wade Jones

Virginia Vaughan "Ginger" Wade Jones, age 62, passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2019. She was born on May 10, 1957, in Chapel Hill. 

She is survived by her husband, James M Jones; son, Chris Bright and wife, Danielle; grandsons Ian and Maddox; her mother Ann H Myatt and husband Thomas N Myatt; her siblings, Cammie Wade Sox and husband Max Gilbert Sox Jr, and Herbert Cloid Wade, III and wife, Rhonda Corbin Wade.

Ginger was a committed Christian who attended the Fuquay-Varina United Methodist Church and served her Lord in many ways. She particularly enjoyed her membership and friendships in the church Quilting Group. She was dearly loved by all who knew her, and all our lives are much diminished by her passing.

Her funeral was held at Thomas Funeral Home, and interment in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. 

Some of you will remember that Ginger's mother had been a social studies teacher at Fuquay-Varina Junior High School, and later taught at Wake Tech. Her father had worked at WFVG, the local radio station.
