Major Merman Stancil Jr.
February 24, 1957 - September 11, 2012
Major M. Stancil, Jr., 55, passed away September 11, 2012. A native of Harnett County, North Carolina, he was born February 24, 1957, the son of the late Major Merman Stancil and Bertis Wright Stancil.
Memorial services were held in the Chapel of Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier.
Mr. Stancil was survived by his wife, Kay Wilkins Stancil, son, Ryan Stancil, brothers, Jerry Stancil, Billy Allen, Wayne Allen and special nephew Tyler Goss.
In lieu of flowers the family requested that memorials contributions be sent to Duke Medical Center, Rheumatology Department.
