Alice and I were great friends in high school. Terry and I "conspired" with Alice and her first husband when we decided to elope. Alice gave us all the details and we eloped in the same little town in Missouri as they did. I think Palmyra gets a lot of "elopers"!! LOL
I lost contact with her after her son died in the early 70's, but I thought about her often.
