Jim and I weren't not close friends in school, though we knew each other. We became somewhat close over the two or three years prior to his passing, through Facebook, and we had a number of conversations on the phone. Jim was a good man, good father & Grandfather. He loved his children & grandchildren. I miss our telephone conversations and I admire his service in the 173rd Airborne US Army and Vietnam. He had a big heart. Rest in Peace. Friend.
Jim did not graduate in the class of '67 but prior to his passing Jim asked me to include him in our class roster as he had no class to be included in.
