Kings Mountain, NC- Karen Marie Hardy, 35, Kings Mountain, died here Wednesday morning. (March 4, 1992).
She was born March 15, 1956 in Waukegan, Ill., the daughter of Ted and Donna Pucin Dugenske.
Surviving are her parents, of Galesburg, Ill.; one son , Kristoffer Hardy, Kings Mountain, and two daughters, Karlie Hardy and Kim Trask, all of Kings Mountain; her grandmother, Vicentia Pucin, North Chicago; and four brothers, Scott Dugenske, Winston-Salem, N.C., Gary Dugenske, St. Petersburg, Fla., Mark Dugenske, Peoria, Ill., and Dale Dugenske; Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
She owned the Mountaineer Restaurant in Kings Mountain; where she was a member of East Gold Street Wesleyan Church.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in East Gold Street Wesleyan Church, with the Rev. Harold Bumby and George Simmons officiating. Friends may call from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday in Harris Funeral Home, Kings Mountain. Burial will be in Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain.
