Good Morning Classmates! Hope your week is going well so far!!

I am writing this morning because we are looking for help with some of the details of the reunion. Most of the major stuff has already been taken care of but  it’s the smaller things that we  need outside help on as we have our hands pretty full as it is.  Below is a list of side committees we need set up to take care of certain tasks on our behalf. Each of these committees will need to report back to us with their ideas and findings so we can make the best possible decision for the class as a whole.  

 

If you are interested in joining one of these committees please let me know by Thursday so I can advise you of the other members and the details.

Donation / Raffle Committee- This group of people needs to be  able to contact different community organizations, businesses and leaders in regards to our reunion . We need to get the word out to the city that our reunion is coming up and expand our cash flow. This group should also come up with a few ideas on raising money  for this and future reunions.

 

 

Advertising  Committee- This group needs to have  the iniative to think outside the box, be as creative  as possible and  use the free resources within our community. We won't know what people can do for us if we don't ask.  Also, look into how much putting ads in the papers and local publications. We need to get the word out to as many people as possible that the reunion is coming up. We have to think of those that have no access to a computer or the internet.  How can we reach them?  They should be able to work in conjunction with the donations/raffle committee .

 

 

Decorations Committee- Besides the 3 of us we are looking for at least 7 more people who would like to decorate the venue.   The theme has already  been chosen but we will need people to help arrange center pieces, hang  balloons, hanging  pics , arranging tables etc.   This is MY little side project so be prepared to work hard and have fun all @ the same time :)

 

Photography- We need someone in charge of a keepsake page so to speak for our class.  The idea of setting up a photobucket page for has been tossed around so picutres from the event can be uploaded and shared amoungst the class. Also some sort of keepsake items like a picture CD or individual/group pictures. The person doesn't have to be a professional photog  just someone who is into taking picutures and creating things like this. If we can find a professional that can take care of this for us for a REASONABLE fee then that would be great. (it would be even better if a portion of the proceeds can go right back into the class fund for future events)
