Brian Michael Simmons, 23, departed this life on August 14, 2009, at Mainland Medical Center.

Brian was born May 1, 1986, in Galveston, where he attended public school and was a 2004 graduate of Ball High School.

He was employed at Luby's as a cook and in Hospitality at UTMB. He was a lifelong member of St Luke Baptist Church, where he served as the drummer for the music department.

He loved music and playing basketball.
