Megan Carlyn Pfisterer, 23, of Gambrills, died July 17 due to an automobile accident. Born June 9, 1990 in Laurel, Megan graduated in 2008 from Arundel High School, then graduated 2012 from Salisbury University with a BS in Elementary Education. She was employed as a 4th grade teacher at East Salisbury Elementary School in Salisbury. Megan was an all county cheerleader. Megan was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Howard Brosious, paternal grandmothers, Emily Thierauf and Marsha Petersberger; and aunt, Robin Whistler. She is survived by her parents, Robert and Amy Pfisterer; three brothers, Ryan, Kyle and Zachary; paternal grandfather, Ronald Houser; and maternal grandmother, Eleanor Brosious and a host of other family and friends.
