Dale was funny and very kind hearted. He was definitely liked and admired and "The Fonz" among his many friends. He had gone to a party on Halloween, and I had one week to go to deliver our son, so I stayed home.He drank 150 proof rum and his friends took him home and put him face down on the seat so he wouldn't have face me and my mom and dad. During the night he threw up and it got in his lungs. It was so tragic none of his family or his son has ever gotten over it. He was my first love. I know he has been in Heaven watching over us all these years..Barbara (Coffin) Dearen

BARBARA. and DALE, My heart is with you this October...Thank you for posting...I wondered what had actually happened...Those of us who were friends, cared to know. A group of us in 5th grade at Ethel M. Evans would always hang out together at recess...Usually there was a huge chocolate cake ready for us on the picnic table. Dale knew I loved chocolate..He would always sneak an extra slice for me.RIP DALE
