Memorial services for Ralph Everett Jones of Grass Valley will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday in Memorial Park at the Veterans Wall in Grass Valley.
Mr. Jones died Thursday, Aug. 15, in Grass Valley. He was 53.
He was born June 11, 1949, in Long Beach to Everett and Rose Jones. He graduated from Garden Grove High School and California State University at Fullerton.
He served in the U.S. Navy from 1967 to 1971. He was a member of the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 535 of Nevada County and the Disabled American Veterans.
He is survived by his companion of 27 years, Beverlee Carter of Grass Valley; daughter, Rose Jones of Grass Valley; parents Everett and Rose Jones of Grass Valley; sister and brother-in-law, Denise and Steve Ellis of Grass Valley; nephew and niece-in-law, Bret and Olivia Ellis of Grass Valley; nephews Matt Ellis of Los Angeles and Chad Ellis of Grass Valley; niece and nephew-in-law, Carissa and Eric Lindon of Grass Valley; great-niece Mary Lindon; and numerous cousins and aunts.
