I am sad to report that my beloved sister, Ardith Marie (Lissner) Barton, passed away this last Sunday, May 24, 2020, due to throat cancer. She leaves behind her husband, De Barton, two children, Jay Montgomery and Summer Gonsalvez; seven grandchildren, a nephew, Jeremy Barnett; two step sons, Jon and Drew Barton, along with myself, Melinda (Lissner) Messenger (class of '70.) Ardie's greatest joy was gourmet cooking, and she loved more than anything having all of her family together for barbeques and holiday dinners. We will all forever cherish our time with her and will hold her in our hearts forever.

I had the pleasure of enjoying so much time with Ardith AKA Ardi she lived close enough that I could walk to her house and in the summer we had great fun in the pool in her backyard. She was always smiling and ready for fun. So sorry to hear this news
