Megan Sandlin his daughter -in -law stated Stephen passed away from leukemia.

Mark Sandlin, 59, of Central Point, Ore., passed away Saturday, June 13, 2009. Mark was born Aug. 7, 1949 in Long Beach, Calif. He was a longtime resident of Central Point. He married his wife, Diane Sandlin, Dec. 26, 1971. Mark worked as a plumber and building contractor. In his freetime he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Oregon Hunters Association. Mark served in the U.S. Navy and was a Vietnam Veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Diane; three sons, Jonathan Sandlin, of Bend, Ore., Clay Sandlin, of Eagle Point, Ore. and Luke Sandlin, of Medford, Ore.; daughter, Kate Sandlin, of Medford, Ore.; and four grandchildren.
