She had worked for the US Postal Service for many years before retiring.
Kathryn is survived by her husband George Thomas Hottel III of their home in Yukon, OK; Daughter - Karen Hottel of Kingfisher, OK; Son - George Thomas Hottel IV of Yukon, OK;
Brother - Robert Shumaker of Las Vegas, NV; 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Services will be held on 1:00 PM Wednesday September 27, 2017 graveside at McGee Cemetery in Stratford, OK officiated by Scott Dobbs. Services are under the direction of DeArman-Pickard Funeral Home of Stratford, OK. Please send online condolences to

Linda, it was from the Oklahoma City newspaper. I still visit Oklahoma a couple times a year. Yukon is about 30 miles west of OKC. Home town of Garth Brooks. The article had a nice photo of Kathryn but couldn’t figure out how to post it here.
