MIDLOTHIAN, Va. — Anne Mason Ballard McNamee, 65, of 2201 Keith Lane, died Oct. 4, 2006, at St. Mary’s Hospital, Richmond, Va. She was born in Shelby, N.C., daughter of the late Beeler M. and Pauline T. Ballard of Gastonia.

CELEBRATION OF LIFE SERVICE: 4-7 p.m. Monday at her home in Midlothian She was raised in Gastonia, attended Pfeiffer College with a degree in elementary education. After her teaching career, Anne worked as secretary to State Representative Lee Ware at the Virginia General Assembly.

SURVIVORS: Husband of 37 years, John J. (Jack) McNamee, of the home; son and daughterin-law, Patrick and Elizabeth McNamee of Parker, CO; daughter and son-in-law, Leslie and Chris Crabtree of Nashville, TN; brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth W. and Cynthia Ballard of Crouse, NC; three grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews
