Mrs. Joyce Cloninger Bailey, 80, of Clover, SC, passed away Monday, November 1, 2021 at the Testa Family Hospice House, Kings Mountain, NC.
Memorial service will be 4:00 p.m. Thursday, November 4, 2021 at the Clover A.R.P. Church with the Rev. Calvin Draffin officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
Mrs. Bailey was born January 26, 1941 in Gastonia, NC to the late Thomas L. and Ellene Thomas Cloninger. She was the widow of Jerry K. Bailey and a longtime member of the Clover A.R.P. Church.
Survivors are her sons Todd Bailey (Diane) and Chad Bailey (Lee) both of Clover, SC; brothers Tuck Cloninger and Steve Cloninger; grandchildren Brittan, Brandon, Nicholas, Lane and Brin; and four step-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Testa Family Hospice House, 321 Kings Mountain Blvd., Kings Mountain, NC 28086.

How sad I was to hear the passing of Joyce Cloninger Bailey and wish I had heard the news sooner. She was such a great friend to me at Ashley. We had a group of girls and always had such great times together. Who can forget all the fun times we had at Sparrow Springs and Robinwood Lake listening to "Please Don't Talk to the Lifeguard" sung by our own Diane Ray. Good memories, good friends and good times. I will never forget them and neither will I forget Joyce Ann. Rest in peace my friend.
