Ted Earney departed the earth on Wednesday morning, November 1, 2017. 

He is survived by his wife Patsy of 59 years, daughter, Susan, son, Kevin, daughter, Karen and her husband, Chris, his grandchildren, Carson & Olivia and step-grand children, Elijah & James. 

Ted learned aircraft repair in the Air Force. He saw the world one airbase and airport at a time. He would later use what he learned there as a quality control inspector foreman at Delta Airlines from which he retired after 27 years. He was a wood worker and creator of catchphrases. He was a storyteller, handyman, tinkerer, and collector of antique treasures. He could fix any engine and grow the greenest lawns. He was a devoted husband, father, and family man who did anything for his children. He was a classic and a sign they don’t make them like they used to. 

His funeral will be Saturday, November 4, 2017, at 12 noon in the Bill Head Funeral Home, Lilburn/Tucker Chapel.  Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens, Tucker, GA.
